WordPress Delete Category

To delete a category in WordPress, you can follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Click on “Posts” or “Products” (depending on whether you are using WordPress for a blog or an online store).
3. Click on “Categories” from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
4. Find the category you want to delete and hover your mouse over it. Click on the “Delete” link that appears.
5. You will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the category. Click “OK” to confirm.
6. Once you confirm the deletion, the category and all its associated posts will be permanently removed from your website.

Note: If you have assigned the category to any posts or products, WordPress will prompt you to assign a new category to those items before allowing you to delete the original category.
