To add media (such as images, videos, and audio files) to a WordPress post or page, follow these steps:
- From the WordPress dashboard, click on Posts or Pages to open the editor for the post or page you want to add media to.
- Click on the Add Media button, which is located just above the editor toolbar.
- Select the media files you want to upload by clicking on the Upload Files tab and then clicking on the Select Files button.
- Alternatively, you can choose media files that have already been uploaded to your WordPress media library by clicking on the Media Library tab and then selecting the files you want to use.
- Once you’ve selected your media files, you can add additional information such as captions, alt text, and descriptions.
- You can also choose how you want the media to be displayed on your post or page, such as aligning the image to the left or right, or selecting a video player size.
- Finally, click the Insert into post or Insert into page button to add the media to your content.
That’s it! Your media files should now be added to your WordPress post or page.
