Enabling JavaScript in Browsers

Enabling JavaScript depends on which browser you are using. Here are the general steps for enabling JavaScript in some popular browsers:

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Chrome and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click on “Settings.”
  3. Click on “Privacy and security” on the left-hand side.
  4. Click on “Site settings.”
  5. Click on “JavaScript.”
  6. Toggle the switch to the right so that it says “Allowed.”

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox and click on the three lines in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click on “Options.”
  3. Click on “Privacy & Security” on the left-hand side.
  4. Under the “Permissions” section, check the box next to “Enable JavaScript.”

Apple Safari:

  1. Open Safari and click on “Safari” in the upper left-hand corner.
  2. Click on “Preferences.”
  3. Click on “Security” on the top toolbar.
  4. Check the box next to “Enable JavaScript.”

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Open Edge and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Click on “Settings.”
  3. Click on “Cookies and site permissions” on the left-hand side.
  4. Click on “JavaScript.”
  5. Toggle the switch to the right so that it says “Allowed.”

Once you have enabled JavaScript, you should be able to use websites that require it.
